Travel Bucket List

This post was inspired by the wonderful platform that is Instagram. Over the last few weeks, I have seen so many photos of people visiting my dream locations. Instead of getting jealous, it really inspires me to keep dreaming of visiting those places myself one day. Hopefully, writing this post now will lead to manifesting these goals. I turn 20 next month, and with that being said, I would love to visit these places in the next ten years or so. That would be incredible. Here is a list of places on my travel list...

New York City, USA

New York City is at the absolute top of the list. Firstly, it has the most iconic landmarks and city views. Secondly, it's a dream for shopping and you'd see a bright yellow taxi everywhere you go. And lastly, you are spoilt for choice when it comes to food. I would definitely fangirl if I visited New York because it was the set of two of my favourite TV shows - Gossip Girl and Friends (although Friends was filmed in L.A haha) -  as well as one of my favourite movies, The Devil Wears Prada, and countless other films. Honestly, I would be in awe of the whole city.

Venice, Italy

Venice looks so romantic and beautiful. Also, the buildings and water look so colourful and picturesque. I could imagine the food would be amazing, with all the pasta, pizza, gelato and more. I think Venice so unique and fascinating - the fact that's it's a city on water is so cool. You would definitely get a lot of walking done, and taking a trip on a gondola would be a dream come true.  There are so many reasons why Venice is on my list of places I'd love to visit.

Paris, France

Paris just looks so pretty. From iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe, to beautiful streets filled with shops and cafes, to walks along the River Seine - I would love every minute of it. It is definitely a goal of mine to see Eiffel Tower sparkle at night. Overall, I would feel so lucky and grateful if I was able to go to Paris.

One things that you may not know about me is that I am half-Irish. The last time I went to Ireland was when I was little for a family holiday. Now that I'm older, I would love to experience it again, from a new perspective and make new memories, as I don't remember much of my last trip there. I would love to see family, and enjoy the countryside and small towns. It may not be the most exotic of locations, but that doesn't matter to me. I would love to go Ireland again and connect to my roots.

Greek Islands

If Mamma Mia didn't make you want to jump on a boat and head to a beautiful Greek island, did you even watch Mamma Mia? I don't know which island I would choose, but the natural beaches, blue ocean and small towns look so beautiful. It seems like such a romantic place to visit.

What destinations are on your travel list and why? Have you been to any of the locations I've mentioned in this post?
